Watching sunrise in the kitchen
To be up early to watch the sunrise from the kitchen window. Humanity condominium units from the 26th floor and up have good views of the surrounding Montreal downtown. One of the side benefits of buying an apartment in Humanity was that no tall buildings were directly next door to the living quarters. There was plenty of space around Humanity to enjoy. Standing in the kitchen and to look out the window again. The first vestiges of light were reaching over the horizon turning the scene from an eerie dark blue top and black bottom, to a lighter blue with a slow glowing wafer of red reaching to the black ground. Slowly the sky started turning a greyas the red wafer centralised and shafts of yellow punched through from the black earth. Watching the sunrise day after day, it was beautiful.
